Two stories that meet their end in the book's middle. The first one, based on real life, narrates the challenge of Sasha De Sola before she became principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet in 2017. A second, fictional story, talks about a boy who is inspired by her to become a dancer. Both stories offer a moral that can be applied to life beyond ballet: resilience, overcoming life’s obstacles, and following our heart and passion no matter the difficulties.
Recommended for audiences 5 years and older. Always better as read-along with a trusted adult.
